Gauging/guessing ticket pricing trends

Hello,

My wife and I are planning a trip to Belgium in a few months. We checked prices a few days ago and they were around $1100 each. Today they're around $1400.

When we stepped through the process to purchase tickets today, there were a fair number of seats left in our class (Delta Comfort+). I know nobody has a crystal ball to see the future, but given we won't fly out for about 6 more months, is it safe to wait and check prices a few times a week for the next month, or should we just pay the price and be done with it?

If it matters, we have etickets to use up ($1100 each). We were hoping not to have to pay anything above the value of the eticket, but we know that may not be realistic.

Any advice is welcome.
