I received notification today that my upcoming direct premium economy flight MLE-BOM AI 2272 on 20 April was cancelled. I was being downgraded to economy and moved onto a MLE-DEL-BOM alternative.
Given the short notice and the downgrade, am I due any compensation? Can I ask to be re-routed on the direct 6E service?
It's annoying that the 6E service is quite expensive to book at short notice and the replacement via DEL adds a lot of wasted time :(
