Flying QR this evening CGK-DOH-JFK. Got a call yesterday from QR asking if I would move to fights that would arrive 10 hours later. Asked him what QR would offer for the inconvenience. He said you would need to contact customer service. I then asked, "Have you ever dealt with QR customer service?" --He kind of just chuckled, not sure if he was understanding what I was implying. Then said I would just stick with my original flights.
But, really, anyone been offered anything prior to departure to be taken off flight?
Seriously, I'm not arriving 10 hours late with no compensation due to your overbooking.
PS They have tried to call me three times already this morning, been in meetings so can't take it. Then they sent a text. They must be desperate.
