So I just booked tickets from SFO-KUL on UA.com, and the return segment is MH804 connecting to UA810. Based on my reading and prior experience at MNL, it seems like I would have to clear immigration at T1, transport myself to T3, and then re-clear immigration. The transit time is 2 hours, and it seems unlikely I would make it. I have nowhere important to be upon arrival back in SFO and it would be totally fine for me to just get rebooked on the next morning's departure. Since I'm still in the 24 hour free cancellation period, does it make sense for me to try and do something about this, or should I hope for a schedule change that would allow me to route via SIN and just get rebooked if I end up flying as scheduled and don't make the connection. Also, is there any chance UA refuses to re-book me after I miss my MNL-SFO flight if the KUL-MNL flight is on time?
