In June I will be making a trip to Cincinnati and around. Although I did find a thread about a Holiday Inn in Cincinnati, which dated from the early 2000s, I felt it might be a good idea to start a new one. The earlier thread mentioned a Holiday Inn near Covington CVG airport, as well as a HIN on the riverside, both of which seemed to be good. But 2000-2006 is a long time ago now and things may have changed. Certainly, the airport location could be good, with an arriving flight in the evening. On the Kentucky side of the river there is a Holiday Inn and a Holiday Inn Express and I thought it might be fun to take photos of Cincinnati across the river. However, my memory of my one visit to Cincinnati (mid 1990s) is that it was quite edgy, although I expect things have probably changed by now.
The purpose of the trip will be to undertake and complete a road trip, following US-22 all the way from downtown Cincinnati all the way to Newark airport. The route will head through Pittsburgh, Altoona and central Pennsylvania, followed by Harrisburg.
