Sorry, not sure if this belongs in some other thread like "United app discussion" or "Consolidated Delayed Flights".
Was on AMA-IAH today that was delayed due to mechanical reasons. The app only offered me same origin/destination airports. This is the first time I've ever had this. Normally you can select airports up to 200 miles away from both origin/destination during the rebooking process. AMA should at least come up with LBB (Lubbock, TX) and DC should offer DCA/IAD/BWI with further fields such as RIC/CHO/PHL showing up as well. Yet today none of that was available to me.
It worked out OK because the delay caused me to just take the next flight to my original airport in DC without a crazy wait.
Is this a new policy? This is my first IROPS as a Platinum (fell from 1K graces for this year). Is it related to my new status?
