Waiver of award redeposit fee? Medical? Missles?

My sister and mother were to come to Israel next week. My mother became ill, was hospitalized and had surgery. She came out of it ok, but will be recovering for another 7 to 10 days before she can leave the hospital. My sister is with her.

Combine that with the current fighting in Israel and I'm wondering if there is any chance to get the award mileage redeposit fee waived when canceling their award tickets.
