BA56 Delayed...more rubbish from BA.

We are sat at JNB waiting for BA56 to depart.

We have received several notifications pushing departure back progressively, but things seem to have now settled at a midnight departure, with 'operational challenges' being cited as the reason for the delay.

Most recently I received this text from BA"

"BA56 - Further update regarding your flight to London Heathrow. Your revised departure time is now 23:55 local time. Please check ba.com/flightstatus for the most up to date information. Refreshments will be available from a British Airways representative at the gate area. Thanks for bearing with us. British Airways"

We have visited the gate 3 times...no sign of the promised BA rep....surely they can do better than this?
